I love you to the beach and back

The time flies and it is September already!
It is so strange for me here, in Western Australia, still getting my head around opposite seasons - it should be lovely, sunny, and hot in July and August, like a proper summer in Europe, not the middle of winter! You see, it was that way for me for many years, so it will take me some time now, probably quite a few years, until I get used to this. Never mind that I never liked cold or rain for a long period of time. Anyway, in my head, July and August are still the months of summer, that's why our wedding was in July, and that day was the most beautiful day EVER.
What happened in my life is very simple:
I FOLLOWED MY HEART AND IT LED ME TO THE SEA!
And every time I need to make a decision, my heart takes me to the seaside, to the beach, without asking me at all what I think about it. This is my life, and I love it. And it really doesn't matter to me which beach it is - I love my life to the beach and back always!
My favorite place to get my energy back, my batteries recharged. Going to the beach or just walking by the ocean and staring at the blue waters is enough; it always puts a smile on my face.
I followed my heart when I chose to start working on cruise ships, and it led me to the sea!
That's obvious.
I followed my heart when I chose to get married to my wonderful husband, and it led me to the sea!
That was only sort of obvious, as the plan to live in Australia was always there; however, we made London our home for fourteen years before moving here!
And I am lucky enough to live in this beautiful part of the world now, and a few minutes away from the beach, too!
Another amazing place for recharging batteries for me is Bali, where I am privileged and grateful to be able to spend some time every single year. And that happened this July/August as well.
Walking on the beach by the big waters of the ocean, watching the sun setting at the end of the day and children running with a kite. Perfect serenity for me.
I love my life to the beach and back.
