I saw that image somewhere on the Internet and I thought to myself: this is just magic!
Absolutely wonderful. So I had to make sure it goes with one of my posts.

This picture looks like a dream come true. I have always loved books since I was a little girl. So many adventures and magical things happened in books. And no matter what, a book was the kind of friend that never left me.
Books were my friends when I was happy. I was glad to take one and sit in the garden, or on the floor in my bedroom, and read. When I was sad, I would hide with a torch under a blanket and quite often read a book until I finished. It didn't really matter that I would get no sleep that night. I remember my father not being very happy about it.
Reading really worked well with my imagination. It still does.
The more I read, the more imagination I have.
The more I can imagine, the easier it is for me to write about it.
The more I read, the more I see around me, and the more observant I become.
'It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.' "Little Prince" Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
I could read this little book over and over again when I first laid my hands on it.
I was astonished. So many important questions answered. And even though I read it many times, I still find new quotes and open my eyes wide, thinking to myself: 'But, of course.'
Like this:
'Then you shall judge yourself,' the king answered; 'that is the most difficult thing to do. It is much more difficult to judge oneself than to judge others. If you succeed in judging yourself rightly, then you are indeed a man of true wisdom.'

Now I have my very own place, where magic lives
I just had to have a library at home
When we were moving from London to Perth and packing our belongings, David asked me: 'Which books are you taking to Australia?' I honestly thought it was a rhetorical question. But, of course, ALL OF THEM.Sadly enough, I had to leave most of my preciousand wonderful books behind, in Poland! They are in my parents' house, in my old bedroom, where it all started. The most fascinating world of imagination began there.

I have a companion not only for my walks, but also for my stories
I write quite a lot lately and have so many stories still to tell.
Some of them are already written, and Leia is mostly the first one to listen to them.
She looks very interested!
Probably because most of the stories I write are about her: Leia, The Furry Princess!
