All You Need Is Love

Love is all you need!

A very special word of appreciation to those four boys on the couch - every time I listen to their songs, both music and words, I have a great time.

When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me speaking words of wisdom: ''Let it be''.

I like when a song has a story, proper lyrics, not only lalala in the chorus.

I grew up with songs that had a tale to tell, a plot to follow, something to dream about or to relate to. A story that I wanted to listen to over and over again.

I learned the words of my favorite ones and know them by heart.

I don't think I can say I have one Beatles song that I like above others.

I love them all. LOVE them SO much.

I can relate to so many phrases, take little sayings from the songs and apply them daily to life.

When I hear their music and words in my head, I cannot walk without smiling.

The Beatles' songs give me so much joy.

When I was a little girl growing up in Poland, I wanted to know what those four boys were singing about so happily. Those four boys (and Elvis!) were the reason I started learning English.

Because I wanted to understand.

And I fell in love with their music, lyrics, stories, songs, and both their temperament and the phenomena that made the world turn so mad and insane for them without any Internet, Facebook, or Instagram.

Every day there is something from either "Yellow Submarine" or "Octopus's Garden" that I find in my life around me. For sure they don't let me down, even if I work eight days a week trying to be a paperback writer. No matter what - here comes the sun and with a little help from my friends, we can work it out!

I want to hold your hand and run in strawberry fields forever. Even when I'm sixty-four, because money can't buy me love and love is all you need.
