I love this saying.
The most important decision for me to make every single day is that I will be happy today. When I was on holiday in Bali, I saw a tree that decided to be happy as well. I like trees. They are my friends. I meet them every day when I go for a walk. This tree is a happy one; I decided at that very moment to be happy, too. Why not? I come back to that beach as often as I can—the tree is still happy.

'Being happy is the greatest form of success' Jeremy Mcgilverey
I agree completely. It seems nowadays that success is mostly accompanied by money and a lot of it. If you don't have a lot of money, you are not considered successful. Don't get me wrong, money can be really good and helpful, but I think that when someone has money and they are still not happy, that's really sad. I think, you see, that if someone is not happy with little things, they won't be able to be happy with big ones, either. How could they be?
I see many faces disappointed and disgusted every day. With the weather, with traffic, that nothing is as it used to be, that it used to be so much better than it is now; just basically waking up ready to complain. As if it was the only valid reason to wake up at all.
Many people, I figure, have an illness called: 'I want more'. It is, of course, only my opinion, but it seems like if someone has a reasonably good house but they must have a bigger one, for how long will they be happy with that bigger one? I wonder.

Being happy is an inside job
The simpler I think about my life, the happier I am. The more I appreciate what I have in my life, the happier I am. There are little things that make me happy - like a selfie with a kangaroo, for example. And there are bigger things that make me happy - like, for example, living with a rescue dog and writing stories about her, because she is such a Princess!

Voltaire said a long time ago, 'I have decided to be happy because it is good for my health.'
It is very good for my health, too. Definitely.
That's why I choose to go for a walk, to be around and in places I love: seaside, parks, or forest.
And around those I love: David and Leia. They make me happy. And I choose to be happy!
