Australia's outbacks are great for any kind of walkabout you could wish for.
There are plenty of places to go for a wander.
I like walking on the beach, around a lake, in a forest, or in a park - I haven't really dared to go on a walkabout just yet.
If I could, though, I would love to do a 'flyabout', like an osprey.

It is so great to have the possibility to just go for a walk, to have a wander around.
It is one of my favorite pastimes.
I see so many fascinating phenomena wherever I am, either on the beach walk or anywhere else.
I love watching crabs organizing their whereabouts in the morning, preparing for the rest of the day.
In the same way, I love watching an osprey taking off from its lookout and going for a hunt in the ocean.
Coming back with its dinner and eating it on the beach. Just a perfect spot to do it!
There is so much beauty in the world, anywhere I am, everywhere around.
I like to go for a walk - quite often I don't mind where I go; if asked I'd say that 'I will go there and back again'.

I cherish my freedom
One of my favourite walks is from Burns Beach all the way to Mindarie. I could easily let myself get lost and stay on Clayton Beach forever.
That's where my wanderings take me mostly - and I enjoy them.
The wonder of nature makes me wander quite often - there is not much we can control in nature, nothing really. And that's what makes it so wonderful.

Staying close to nature
I physically sense the joy of freedom when watching seagulls or ospreys flying around the ocean.
Free spirit and free mind
Walks on the beach are good for me; they set my soul free.
